Panda Algorithm

What is the Panda Algorithm?

The Panda algorithm is Google's search results ranking algorithm. Google released it in February 2011 to make search results better.

Before Panda, some sites with low-quality or copied content were ranking higher than they should. The Panda algorithm changed that. It made those low-quality sites rank lower.

The algorithm looks for signs that a site has poor or copied content that users wouldn't find useful. If it sees those signs, it will rank the site lower.

This way, sites can't try to cheat the system by just stuffing keywords into their pages. They need good original content if they want to rank well.

The main goal of Panda is to improve search results by giving way to high-quality sites by pushing low-quality sites further down.
